Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder is when a shoulder injury causes you to limit the amount of shoulder movement for a long time. Over time scar tissue tends to develop inside the joint making it more painful and more difficult to raise your arm. Gradually this increases to the point where you can't move your arm at all without significant pain.
Is surgery the only option?
No in fact frozen shoulder can be treated with a combination of therapy and chiropractic adjustments.
What types of therapy should I do?
Place your hand against the wall and gently walk your hand up as high as you can without pain. Then keeping your hand where it is, draw circles with your body. This allows you shoulder to move in and out of the zone of pain. Do this for 3 minutes then ice the shoulder for 20 minutes daily for 6 weeks.
How can chiropractic help?
